Future plans

Engineers, officers, and employees of the Department of Educational Engineering are working tirelessly to develop and modernize the infrastructure of educational institutions with the mission of building quality and modern classrooms for all by 2021 and creating well-educated, skilled, and ethical human resources.


As part of the Digital Bangladesh development under Vision 2021, the Department of Educational Engineering is constructing buildings with multimedia classrooms, ICT labs, internet connectivity, and ICT facilities to promote modern and quality education in the country's educational institutions.


Functions of the Department of Educational Engineering:

• Planning, designing, monitoring and implementing development work for the construction of new buildings of educational institutions;

• Construction, reconstruction, repair and renovation of new buildings of various educational institutions including schools, colleges, madrasas, technical educational institutions, supply of furniture, etc.

• Implementation of development projects of educational institutions under the Ministry of Education.

• Implementation of development work of educational institutions of other ministries or organizations, etc.
